ARATUBO: LIVING SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

Living Sustainability is a strategic project within Aratubo's transformation plan towards becoming a healthy company, committed to its workers and to the planet.

This project fosters actions to achieve a sustainable lifestyle; it's all about living based on a commitment to the environment which can be achieved by introducing small actions into our day to day life.

These actions, in turn, seek to comply with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations and which we at Aratubo have adopted as our own.

The United Nations General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in September 2015, an action plan that sets out 17 Sustainable Development Goals in favour of people, the planet and prosperity.

All the planned actions will have a place under the umbrella of sustainability and well-being, for which we have designed our own identity:

We are launching a project with an action aligned with SDG3, health and well-being.

For one week, we will enjoy a healthy lunch consisting of seasonal fruits and nuts.

Furthermore, we have created two healthy spaces with recycled and ecological materials with the intention of creating a natural environment where we can enjoy a lunch that is beneficial to our health.

This first corporate wellness campaign has been very well received; however, be that as it may, the first step is to take a look at our way of life and commit to introducing changes that generate sustainable habits such as this one.
