In 2026, Grupo Arania’s sustainability team decided to focus on internal actions as a priority axis for channeling its communication processes. Knowing that the workforce must be a priority in any communication strategy, we held the first “Sustainable Coffee,” an initiative framed within the first Sustainability Communication Plan, which was approved a few weeks ago.

Sustainability as a key strand is the driving force behind the “Sustainable Coffee,” a dynamic and engaging forum aimed at the employees of Grupo Arania and its companies. This activity, deriving from Grupo Arania’s first Sustainability Communication Plan, is just one of many that will be launched throughout 2026.

Both the “Sustainable Coffee” and the Sustainability Communication Plan itself are the result of the internal reflections carried out during 2025, which repeatedly highlighted one fundamental idea: prioritising internal communication. This means finding actions which ensure that every member of the Grupo Arania family is aware of the initiatives being promoted by the sustainability department. “We are especially aware of the importance of sharing what we do with our people,” says Sustainability Director Ana Guinea.

The launch of the Sustainability Communication Plan reflects Grupo Arania’s commitment to caring for both its external and, above all, internal environment by ensuring that sustainability policies are communicated at all times. “We now know that we are pioneers in many initiatives, and the first step is to share them and enrich them together,” adds Ana Guinea, who reiterates: “Sustainability is something we have to build together,  otherwise, it won’t happen.”

The first “Sustainable Coffee,” which will be repeated throughout the year, brought together the communication and marketing managers from all of the Grupo Arania companies. In a highly participatory session, they contributed their views on the initiative, its format, and its content, and proposed improvements for future meetings.
