Every year, our corporate calendar becomes an art gallery. The 2026 edition presents the work of Cristina Almodóvar (Madrid, 1970), a Spanish sculptor who works with iron, transforming it meticulously into organic shapes that are incorporated into the architecture. Thus they relate the rational and structured space to something that grows spontaneously, with a poetic perspective that invites us to think about the human relationship with oneself and with our environment.

For this calendar, the artists takes her perspective back to her career, creating 12 small sculptures, with one thing present in all of them in one way or another: metal. Sheet metal, mesh or wire, combined with paper to create 12 small stories full of connotations and allusions to a natural world that erupt from the metal and transform it.

Sculpture: Transformación. Viento. 2024

At Grupo Arania we see art as a form of dialogue with a space and the people that inhabit it. The sculpture by Cristina Almodóvar for our offices grew from that desire to integrate artistic creation and corporate identity in the same place.

Renowned for her work with iron, the artist’s meticulous process transforms metal into organic shapes that seem to grow and expand within the architecture. Her work establishes a balance between structure and intuition, between industrial and natural, generating a harmonic tension that invites contemplation.

Located in the reception, the piece has become a permanent presence that accompanies Grupo Arania’s everyday work. More than a sculptural piece, it’s a symbolic gesture: a way to remember that industry can also be sensitivity, transformation and a poetic perspective out to our surroundings.
